Privacy policy
This policy covers the Speedgolf app for iPhone and Apple Watch and the website speedgolfscore.com. The controller is DSVH Holding BV, the Netherlands. Contact: info@speedgolfscore.com.
Data we process
- Account: email address, name, and the identifier from Sign in with Apple or Google.
- Profile: your public handle.
- Rounds: course, strokes, times, and the GPS track and shot positions when you record them.
- Today's flag positions: shared anonymously per course, without your name or account.
- Health data: heart rate, distance and workouts are written to Apple Health and read only on your device. Health data never leaves your device, except two summary numbers stored with the round: the distance you ran and your average heart rate.
- Microphone and speech: used only while voice scoring is on. Speech is processed by Apple's speech recognition, on your device or on Apple's servers depending on your iOS settings.
- Purchases: handled by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Why we process it
To provide the app: to keep your rounds and records, to show leaderboards and following, to show today's flag distance, and to manage your subscription. The legal basis is performance of our agreement with you, and for voice scoring and location your consent through the iOS permission prompts.
Who sees what
Your rounds and handle are visible to other signed-in users, for leaderboards and following. Manual rounds are marked as such. Your email address is not shown to other users. Round pages, tournament pages and public profiles on speedgolfscore.com are visible to anyone without an account.
Storage
Data is stored with our processor Supabase and hosted in the European Union.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data until you delete your account. You can delete your account in the app under Profile > Delete account, or by email. Deletion removes your account, profile and rounds.
What we do not do
No advertising, no tracking SDKs and no sale of data.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection. Email us to use them. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
